Protecting your personal data is important to us. This privacy policy informs you about what data we collect, how we use it, and what rights you have.
1. Data Controller
Responsible for data processing on this website is the operator of SubTrial.
2. What Data We Collect
We collect the following data: • Email address: For login and sending reminder emails • Subscription data: Name, start date, cancellation deadline and notes of your subscriptions • Technical data: IP address, browser type, access times (through our hosting providers)
3. Purpose of Data Processing
We use your data exclusively for: • Providing the SubTrial service • Sending reminder emails before your cancellation deadlines expire • Technical provision and security of the website
4. Third-Party Services
We use the following services: • Supabase (database and authentication): storage of your subscription and account data. • Resend (email delivery): sending reminders and magic links. • Vercel (hosting): serving the website. • Google Analytics (audience measurement): loaded only if you have explicitly consented beforehand. Without consent no measurement takes place. You can withdraw your decision at any time via "Cookie settings" in the footer.
5. Data Retention
Your data is stored as long as your account exists. After deleting your account, all your data will be permanently deleted.
Cookies and storage on your device
Necessary: your sign-in is stored in your browser by Supabase. Without it you could not log in. Your decision about analytics is stored as well – otherwise we would have to ask again on every visit. Both happen without consent because they are required for the service you requested (§ 25 (2) TDDDG). With consent: Google Analytics sets cookies for audience measurement. They are only set after you agree and are deleted when you withdraw.
Your rights
You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection (Art. 15 to 21 GDPR), as well as the right to withdraw consent at any time. Two of these you can exercise directly in the app: "Export my data" in the dashboard gives you everything stored about you as CSV or JSON. "Delete account" irreversibly removes your account, subscriptions, delivery log and plan. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority.
